History
The Sacred Heart School, was established in the 1940’s, by the Vicar Apostolic of Arabia. In 1953 it was entrusted to the care of the Comboni Missionary Sisters who amidst obstacles built an edifice of Love and Service. The dedicated band of Sisters left no stone unturned to maintain excellent standard in the school. They will always be fondly remembered.

In 1978, the Junior classes and in 1989, the Senior classes were shifted to the newly built premises at Isa Town, on a plot of land benevolently donated by the late Amir, Shaikh Isa Bin Salman Al Khalifa.
In 2003, His Excellency, Bishop Bernard G. Gremoli, the Vicar Apostolic of Arabia entrusted the School to the care of the Apostolic Carmel Sisters. Bishop Bernard Gremoli was devoted to the cause of education and character formation. The students looked up to him and admired his benevolent qualities. The Sacred Heart Family will always cherish his memory.
